Your account
Delete your VinylDesk account
You can delete your VinylDesk account, and the data in it, yourself at any time. This page is for the VinylDesk app for Android (Collector, DJ and Sales) and for accounts made on the web: it is one account.
How to delete your account
- In the app: open Settings, choose Delete account, enter your password and confirm.
- On the web: sign in at pay.vinyldesk.com and choose Delete account at the bottom of the page.
- Cannot sign in? Email billing@vinyldesk.com from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We do so within 30 days and confirm by email.
Deleting is immediate and cannot be undone.
What is deleted
- Your account: your email address, your name if you gave one, and your password.
- Everything in Collector, DJ and Sales: records, tracks, stock, sales, folders and conditions.
- Photos you saved with records and listings.
- Your label settings, AI results and remaining AI Credits.
- The link to your Discogs account and the copy of your Discogs collection and wantlist that VinylDesk kept. Your Discogs account itself is not changed: that stays with Discogs.
- Your support requests, and your sessions on every device.
A running plan ends at the same moment and is not renewed.
What is kept, and for how long
- Payments, invoices, VAT records, the consent you gave at checkout, refunds and withdrawals: 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it. They are kept without your name and without your email address.
- Technical server logs: only for as long as they are needed for security and troubleshooting.
Deleting some of your data without deleting your account
- Records, tracks, sale items and photos can be removed one by one in the app.
- You can disconnect your Discogs account in the app's settings at any time.
- For anything else, email billing@vinyldesk.com and tell us what you want removed.
More about how we handle your data is in our Privacy Policy.
